Organic Cotton
In 1996, with an increased awareness of the dangers of pesticide use and synthetic fertilizers in growing conventional cotton, Patagonia began the exclusive use of organically grown cotton in all of our cotton products.
The quality of organic cotton is equal to or better than conventionally grown cotton, yet organically grown methods support biodiversity and healthy ecosystems, improve the quality of soil and often use less water. Growing organically takes more time, requires more knowledge and skill, and, for now, costs more. But itās worth it.
To ensure we are buying cotton that is organic as defined by the USDAās National Organic Program, we require numerous certificates issued by an accredited third-party certification body for every step of the supply chain, from farm to factories.

Hi Gavin! Thank you for your work and effort to make us all safer and better pilots. I’ve tried to buy green t-shirt but it’s out of stock. I’ll wait till it’s back. All the best brother and good luck with preparation for RBXA!
Hi Blazej!
I have green in Large and XL- are you medium? The blue is really, really nice, you might like the blue! It’s kind of a blue/gray. It will be awhile before I get more green in as we just got a big order of blue, but will have them at some point. Thanks so much for your support and stoke!
Hi Gavin, correct- I’m medium. I’ll take blue then and wait for green too. Cheers buddy!
Cool just place the order and I’ll ping it off to you straight away!
Hey Gavin, regarding shirts sizes: Iām 5ā10, athletic shape, 175 pounds. Would I be better off with the medium or large? I prefer a snug fit.
Hey Andrew,
So the Patagonia shirts are “slim fit” so my guess is you would be a large. But…I’m 5’8 and 170 and I am a medium. So Medium would also work but maybe be a bit tight. Do you have a Patagonia store near you that you can try some on? We print the “Patagonia Text Logo” t-shirt and the “slim fit” style.
Let me know,
Gav
I requested that I get bad sun burns on arms and would like to have a full sleeves shirt. Awaiting…
I know, sorry. We just don’t have much demand and I have to put in big orders…Hoping we can do this soon.
Thanks for your patience!
have been trying to order an xl feather grey tshirt for months. When are you getting more in stock? cheers
Hi Nathan,
Unfortunately I have a LOT of X-Large inventory in Shadow Blue, Sprouted Green, as well as Sunset Orange so I won’t be ordering gray again for some time. There are minimums every time I order and just don’t want to end up with stock I can’t sell. The Shadow Blue is very close to the Gray and a super nice color- would that work?
Thanks!
Gavin
Hi Gavin,
Any plans to get any more of the navy blue tees in stock (size large)?
Thanks!
Mike
Hey Mike! Probably not for a bit. They only had M in stock and I got a ton of the Fitz Roy in tan that will last awhile. I’ll keep my eye on stock though. Thanks,
Gav
